REBREATHER TRAINING

Beyond Open Circuit Limits

Whether you are an experienced technical or cave diver and are looking to extend your range beyond the limits of open circuit, CCR is the next logical step.  I offer training primarily on the Fathom MKIII and Gemini, but can also offer training on the SubGravity Defender, X-CCR, and Flex2 rebreathers from entry level through advanced trimix and cave.

MOD 1

The CCR Mod 1 course is the entry level certification for diving closed circuit rebreathers.  Taught over a minimum of 6 days, this course will train the experienced technical diver how to properly assemble their rebreather and plan and execute simple technical dives to a maximum depth of 45 meters/150 feet.

Prerequisites include:

  • GUE Fundamentals (or equivalent skill set)

  • Qualified technical diver with a minimum of 25 non training technical dives (requiring a minimum of 10 minutes of staged decompression, to a minimum depth of 40 meters/130 feet.

MOD 2

The CCR Mod 2 certification builds on the rebreather diver's skillset and begins to expose the real benefits of utilizing a rebreather to extend limits to a maximum depth of 60 meters/200ft.

Prerequisites include:

  • GUE Fundamentals (or equivalent skill set)

  • Qualified rebreather diver with a minimum of 50 non training technical dives on a rebreather (requiring a minimum of 10 minutes of staged decompression, to a minimum depth of 40 meters/130 feet.)
